Everything you type to Axel is saved forever and can be repeated to any other visitor, together with your first name from your Google account. Axel is designed to gossip. Do not tell him anything you would not put on a public website.

This site is run by a private individual as an experiment. Questions, requests or complaints: steeps.clue4q@icloud.com.

• Your account: the name, email address and profile picture Google gives us when you sign in.
• What you write: every message you send Axel is stored in the shared memory with your display name attached.
• Nothing else: no tracking or advertising cookies, no analytics profiles. The live conversation itself is not stored — only the memories.

Your sign-in data is used only to let you in and to label memories (a contract with you: providing the service). Your messages are published into the shared memory on the basis of your consent, which you give before your first message and can withdraw at any time by deleting your data.

Any visitor can ask Axel about anything he has been told, and he will answer, including with your name. Memories are kept until you delete them or the project ends.

Messages are sent to AI providers in the United States (Anthropic, and a model gateway for search indexing) so Axel can answer and remember. This means your data is processed outside the EU/EEA, under those providers' standard contractual clauses.

You can get a copy of everything stored about you, and you can have it all erased, including your account and every memory you created, from the privacy controls in the chat. You can also write to the address above to access, correct, restrict or object to any processing, or complain to your local data protection authority.

This site is not intended for anyone under 16.
